Modern commercial facilities
Shopping mall – what distinguishes CoBouw facilities?
When designing retail spaces, we prioritize functionality, attractive design, and user comfort. We create modern showrooms in sales halls, and in exhibition halls, we design modular tenant boxes that can be flexibly adapted to changing needs. We prioritize the surroundings of the space – designing parking lots, sidewalks, green areas, and landscaping elements to ensure a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment for both customers and employees. Visibility and the promotion of retail spaces are crucial to us – an attractive logo, a facade with eye-catching colors, and glazing make the space stand out from the surroundings.
We combine modern design with functionality, creating spaces that attract customers, promote sales, and ensure comfortable use of the facility. Our retail spaces combine ergonomics, aesthetics, and flexibility, creating a welcoming environment for investors, tenants, and visitors.
Designing shopping malls – optimal technical solutions
Designing the microclimate in retail spaces is a key element that directly impacts customer comfort, staff efficiency, and merchandise protection. From the concept stage, we analyze heat gains and losses resulting from customer traffic, lighting, and refrigeration equipment to select the ideal HVAC system. Our goal is to maintain a stable, comfortable temperature within the 20–22°C range year-round.
We place a strong emphasis on air quality, designing efficient ventilation with CO₂ control and optimal humidity levels. We utilize modern, energy-efficient solutions, such as heat recovery, intelligent building management systems (BMS), and heat recovery from refrigeration equipment, to reduce facility operating costs. We also prioritize acoustics, eliminating unnecessary noise with carefully selected silencers. The entire system is designed to be flexible and allow for future space changes without the need for major renovations.

Modern design and architecture of shopping halls
When designing shopping malls, we pay particular attention to their architecture and visibility, ensuring the facility is attractive both during the day and at night. Distinctive entrance portals, glass facades, and decorative façade elements emphasize the unique character of the mall and facilitate customer orientation. Stores located in city centers often become landmarks, while facilities on the outskirts are designed with good visibility from the road in mind, utilizing façade lighting, neon signs, and attractive advertising to attract the attention of drivers and pedestrians.
We also ensure integration with the surroundings – designing sidewalks, parking lots, green areas, and circulation routes to ensure comfortable and safe use of the arena. Every detail, from the color scheme and glazing to the layout of entrances and recreational areas, is carefully planned to enhance the arena’s appeal, support tenant sales, and ensure visitor comfort.
