Widzew Łódź’s modern sports facility. The project was implemented under the “design and build” formula.
In a consortium with InterHall, we are building a sports complex for Widzew Łódź. As the general contractor, we are responsible for the design and construction of the building, which will provide comprehensive sports and educational facilities. InterHall is responsible for constructing the natural-surface pitch.
The Widzew Łódź Training Center provides athletes with professional training and recovery facilities. Every part of the complex has been designed with maximum comfort and training efficiency in mind.
The facility supports youth training by offering modern facilities and specialized rooms. Players can use the spa and physiotherapy area, which facilitate recovery after intense training sessions. Additionally, the facility features equipment storage, laundry/drying rooms, and coaching facilities, ensuring the efficient organization of the club’s daily operations. The building also includes offices, a games and relaxation room, a modern gym, a VIP area, a dining room, and an administrative area. This creates a fully functional space for training, relaxation, and club work.
A modern sports facility that combines functionality with design.
The design is distinguished by its distinctive, dynamic form. The red-and-white stands, echoing Widzew’s colors, create a striking mosaic that, at first glance, evokes the sporting excitement and visual identity of the venue. The stadium’s structure is a cohesive composition of contemporary materials: a warm brick facade and glazed modules that add a modern, professional touch to the entire structure.
The covered main stand offers excellent visibility and comfort for fans. Its lightweight steel structure, subtly raised above the audience, creates a sense of openness and space. This allows the stadium to blend seamlessly into the landscape, harmoniously blending with its surroundings rather than dominating it.
We carefully integrated the sports and functional facilities with the spectator area, offering a full standard of facilities for teams and training staff. We took into account the principles of ergonomics and seamless communication for both players and facility users.
Widzew’s training center combines the energy of sport with modern design, creating a vibrant, inspiring space ready for major events. It provides players with optimal conditions for training, recovery, and skill development, and also supports youth training and the organization of daily training sessions, in line with the best practices of European football academies.
