A hall for a manufacturer of steel fire doors in Robakowo near Poznań.
A production hall for a fire-rated door manufacturer, being built for Padilla Polska – the Polish branch of the Spanish group Puertas Padilla, one of Europe’s leading steel door manufacturers. The investment in Robakowo near Poznań comprises over 3,300 m² of new production and warehouse space, designed to harmoniously complement the existing facility. Thanks to the well-thought-out interior design and architectural consistency with the existing building, the new hall increases the company’s production capacity and improves the comfort of daily work.
A space adapted to the steel door production process .
One of the key design goals was to align the functional layout with the actual door production cycle, which begins with the receipt of sheet metal and ends with the completion of the finished product. The new hall enhances this process, ensuring a smooth transition between subsequent stages, such as steel component processing, assembly, packaging, and product preparation for shipment. We arranged the raw material, semi-finished products, and finished product areas to reflect the plant’s natural operational rhythm, significantly shortening internal transport routes and supporting production efficiency.
The design also includes additional functions, such as facilities for electric forklifts, a service area, and space for products delivered from other company plants. This allows the expanded hall to function as both a technological base and a local logistics center.
An investment supporting the logistics and shipment of doors to customers throughout Europe .
The expansion of the Robakowo facility was planned to streamline both local production and the distribution of steel doors to customers across Europe. The new space streamlines the receiving, storage, and picking areas, reducing order fulfillment times and increasing the plant’s logistics capabilities. Furthermore, the investment strengthens Robakowo’s role as a consolidation point for products from other Puertas Padilla Group factories, increasing the efficiency of the entire distribution system. The entire facility was designed to ensure the company’s continued growth while creating a functional and ergonomic work environment adapted to the demands of a modern production process.
The construction of a production hall for the Polish branch of the Spanish company Padilla is another interesting project in our portfolio for the door industry. Our previous projects include a greenfield investment in Stanowice for the door manufacturer Turenwerke, which includes a 12,000 m² production and warehouse hall with office space .
