BIG BRANDS GROUP – a magazine for a retail company

Completed
Project description

A warehouse for the retail company Big Brands Group. We will build a warehouse with a staff and office area totaling 4,600 m² in Bukówka Stara near Warsaw. We will be a general contractor for the project. The building will be distinguished by its three-story staff and office area, complemented by a play on color. We combined anthracite on the building’s façade with a light, almost white staff and office area, and red on the arcade.

Big Brands Group distributes fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The company operates in the e-commerce market, so the facility will meet the requirements for ergonomic access to stored goods to optimize distribution processes.

Description of the investment

The planned facility will be used for the storage of goods, their relabeling in preparation for the domestic market, and further distribution. Social and office functions will be located outside the hall, in a separate social and office building, arranged over three floors. The facility will have a total area of 4,600 m².
The investment also includes the design and construction of internal roads, maneuvering areas, parking lots, a fire protection reservoir, stormwater retention reservoirs, and the provision of utilities.

The final effect

A warehouse will be built with a three-story social and office section.
The office section, occupying most of the southern façade, will be clearly defined against the entire development. By recessing sections of the office façade on the ground floor, second floor, and in the strip of the façade adjacent to the hall, we will achieve a break from the uniform form of the building. Furthermore, the use of contrasting façade colors will give the entire structure a dynamic, modern look. Each façade segment extending into the hall’s structure will be distinguished by the use of red façade panels. On the top, third floor of the office, we will highlight a terrace separated by a glass balustrade, partially covered by a roof that also serves as a continuation of the main hall’s roof. The use of repetitive joinery modules will create a dynamic and rhythmic façade. Each surface recessed into the hall’s structure will be highlighted by a transition from gray to vibrant red.
